Coqui Reca, also known as George, is a multi-instrumentalist based in London. Originally from Argentina, he embarked on a rugby tour of Europe in 1978 and never returned. Prior to settling in London in 1990, Coqui lived in Zurich throughout most of the 1980s, with previous stints in Barcelona and Rome.
During the period 1983 to 1992, Coqui served as the lead singer and guitarist for the Latin band El Calefon, performing across Europe and enjoying a residency in Paris. In the 1990s, he joined the London-based Latin band Canfusion.
